Allie Musso is in her third year as an assistant sports information director, as she joined the program in August of 2007. She is the primary contact for women's soccer, women's golf and assists Assistant AD/Director of Sports Information David Plati with skiing.
Aside from her normal sports information duties for the CU ski team, Musso also serves as the website manager for the Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association, www.RMISASkiing.com. She assists Associate SID Curtis Snyder with the overall site management and more specifically updates and maintains the NCAA Qualification Ranks and Start List Seedings throughout the entire season.
Musso is no stranger to the CU athletic department as she spent four years as a student assistant in the sports information office prior to joining the staff full-time. She served as the primary student for women's soccer all four years and worked with men's basketball for three years. She graduated from CU with a degree in communication in May of 2007. Musso was the first woman to be named Senior Student Assistant in the SID office, and was just the second woman to work four years in the office as a student. In the spring of her senior year she was named the winner of the athletic department's student support services academic award.
She also did a stint in the spring of her junior year as a walk-on goalkeeper for Bill Hempen's squad when his netminder corps was depleted.
Born November 1, 1985 in Alameda, Calif., she graduated from Alameda High School in 2003. Her hobbies include playing softball, indoor soccer and watching baseball.
