BOULDER - The University of Colorado cross country program is set to compete at the NCAA Pre-National Invitational in Louisville, Ky., while some of the squad will compete at the Bronco Invitational in Sunnyvale, Calif. on Saturday, Oct. 13.   

The men's team is currently ranked seventh in the USTFCCCA poll, while the women's team is ranked No. 18. The Buffs are fresh off winning the men's and women's Division I titles at the Rocky Mountain Shootout two weeks ago.

Most of CU's varsity team will compete at pre-nationals. The men's seeded 'red' race will start at 7:30 a.m. MT and the women's seeded 'red' race will run at 8:15 a.m. MT at E.P. 'Tom' Sawyer State Park. There will be 40 teams in the men's race and 39 in the women's race.

The Bronco Invitational will start at 10:45 a.m. MT with the women's 5k run. The men (8k) will follow shortly after at 11:30 a.m.

Louisville will host the pre-national meet for the first time and will serve as the host of the NCAA Championships on Nov. 17. Results will be posted at www.UofLsports.com upon the completion of the meet. Results for the Bronco Invite will be available at www.santaclarabroncos.com.
