SENIOR (2012): Bricker saw minutes in 11 games in her
final season. She played in four conference games, including the Buffs' 3-0
victory at Arizona. She played a season-high 37 minutes as the Buffs defeated
Wright State 2-1 in the Omni Hotels Colorado Women's Soccer Classic.
JUNIOR (2011): Bricker played 15 games her junior season, including 10 Pac-12
conference games. Four of her five shots were against conference opponents. She
took a season-high three shots, one on goal, in the Buffs' 1-0 loss to Arizona
State on October 2. She played a season-high 54 minutes against Oregon on
October 16. She earned Pac-12 All-Academic First Team honors in Colorado's
first season in the conference.
SOPHOMORE (2010): Bricker played in every game her sophomore year making 12 starts.
She logged a total of 1,133 minutes scoring one goal for two points. She
attempted 21 shots on the season with 14 on goal. Her only goal of the season
was the game-winner against Nebraska lifting the Buffs over the Cornhuskers 2-1
at home.
FRESHMAN (2009): Bricker played in 18 games and started 14 of them at forward for
the Buffs. She led CU in assists with four on the season. She made her
collegiate debut during the home opener against Oklahoma State on Aug. 22 and
notched her first career start against Illinois. Bricker recorded her first
assist on the third goal against St. Mary's. Bricker was one of two CU freshmen
to be named to the 2009 Big 12 All-Newcomer Team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Bricker was a three-year letter-winner at Campolindo High School
under head coach Ernesto Silva. As
Campolindo's leading scorer her freshman, sophomore and junior seasons with
over 70 goals scored, Bricker led the Cougars to back-to-back NCS Championships
in 2006 and 2007. Bricker was a
three-time first-team all-league selection, a three-time team MVP, and named
the league's Most Valuable Offensive Player as a junior. Bricker was forced to sit out of her senior
season due to a hip injury. She played
club ball for the Mustang Maverick's out of Danville, Calif. Bricker and the Maverick's won back-to-back
state championships in 2007 and 2008 and they fell in the championship game to
the Pleasanton Rage in 2009. Bricker and
the Mavericks also won the Surf Cup and Las Vegas Showcase in 2008, and she was
a participant in the Nike Premiere 50 camp in 2007.
IN THE CLASSROOM: Bricker is majoring in Psychology as well as Speech, Language, and
Hearing Sciences at Colorado.
PERSONAL: Erin Bricker was born on December 31, 1990 and is the daughter of
Timothy and Darby Bricker of Moraga, Calif.
She has one sister, Sydney. Bricker comes from a family of athletes as
her grandfather, Bruce Brenn, played football for the University of Oregon, her
father, Timothy, played soccer for the University of Oregon and her uncle,
Randy Brenn, played soccer for Lewis and Clark.
