COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - University of Colorado junior Michala Hedelund Jensen won her fourth straight match to win the Delta singles bracket Sunday morning in day three of the Air Force Invitational featuring 10 other schools from across the country.

Hedelund Jensen defeated Patricia Skowronski of Oregon, 6-1, 6-3 to clinch her sixth triumph of the fall season in seven matches. The Frederiksberg, Denmark native won two matches, both in three sets at last weekend's CU Invitational. Hedelund Jensen also leads the team in victories and has 34 career wins to her credit.

Also playing today and winning her fifth match of the fall was freshman Kristina Schleich. She defeated Christen Monreal from the Air Force Academy, 6-1, 6-1 in the Alpha bracket consolation round. Junior Madie Kern dropped her Eco singles bracket match falling to New Mexico's Michaela Oldani, 6-2, 6-4.

Colorado is idle until Oct. 13-17 when they will travel to Las Vegas for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional. The 2011 spring opener is scheduled for Jan. 21 when the Buffaloes travel back to the Academy to take on the Falcons.

CU's home opener is Sunday, Jan. 23 against Boise State at the Millennium Hotel Harvest House (10 a.m.).
