Senior Ania Anuszkiewicz and junior-to-be Carla Manzi Tenorio were named to the first and second team, respectively, while junior-to-be Kristina Schleich was named honorable mention.
To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average and be a significant contributor during the season on the team.
Anuszkiewicz will graduate in December 2012 and was one of eight Pac-12 women named to the first team. She is majoring in integrative physiology.
Anuszkiewicz was recently named the CU tennis team's Academic MVP for having the highest grade point average during the 2011-2012 academic year, was also a two-time first team academic selection in the Big 12 Conference. Since 1996, she is the sixth CU tennis student-athlete to garner three first-team academic honors.
Manzi Tenorio is majoring in chemical engineering, was also one of eight named to the conference second team. This is the first conference academic honor bestowed to Manzi Tenorio.
Schleich was one of 18 selected as an honorable mention is majoring in business management.
