Welcome to Buffaloes Summer Break where CUBuffs.com catches up with Colorado student-athletes and coaching staff members throughout the summer "off season."
Today's installment comes from Lizzy Herzl, a junior defender for the soccer team. A native of Littleton, Colo., Herzl played 15 games, starting nine, as a stopper on the Buffaloes back row as a sophomore. Her one career goal, in 2010 as a freshman, proved to be one of the most memorable in team history as her overtime blast defeated No. 10 UCLA, 1-0, in the Omni Hotels Classic.

Marcus Luttrell (Author of Lone Survivor) I would ask him to compare our workouts with that of the navy SEALS. I think ours wouldn’t seem too bad after that!
