What's up Buffs?

After a few days in Paris we are now in Antwerp, Belgium.  Here is a quick recap of our games in Paris.  The two games against AMW Elite were great for our development as a team.  Although we lost both times, I think we have a better understanding of our strengths and weaknesses individually and collectively.

It is still early , however,  and we have three games left.  Our third game we play tonight against the Optima Ghent Dragons.  Hopefully we can use our experience from the past two games and parlay that into a victory tonight.

(As you read or heard, we won 91-63!)

A lot of my teammates, including myself, are surprised by how beautiful Antwerp is.  We are definitely enjoying Antwerp more than Paris- no disrespect to the Parisians.  We stopped for a few hours in Brugge to tour the city.  I think it is safe to say more people in Bruge and Antwerp are deodorant friendly.

After a long travel day, we finally arrived in Antwerp.  We checked into our hotel and had dinner at Da Giovanni's - a very tasty Italian restaurant.  With some free time after dinner, we went to the town square.  At the town square we watched a few street performers and joked around.  Shane, Josh, Kevin, and Eli, went to a karaoke bar where they performed for dozens of people.

I do not think the people of Antwerp were appreciative of the performances.  Fortunately for Buff Nation, I might be able to get my hands on the footage and you call can decide.

This European trip is great for building team chemistry, not only, on the court, but off the court as well.  Our chemistry off the court affects our chemistry on the court.  The best teams have a bond like a family and that is something we are also trying to cultivate on this trip.

I will talk to you all later. Thanks, Go Buffs!!!
