CU To Host Parade Of Buffs Sept. 27

BOULDER—The University of Colorado athletic department will host several legendary Buffs with a Parade of Buffs, a Shoulder to Shoulder Rally, two days prior to the match-up at Folsom Field with the UCLA Bruins on Thursday, September 27. 

The evening will include head coach Jon Embree, former coach Bill McCartney and legendary players including Matt Russell.  The CU Pep Band will play and CU’s two-time national champion mascot Chip and the cheerleaders will also be present. 

The doors at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield will open at 6:30 p.m.  Parking and light hors d’oeuvres will be provided free and there will be a cash bar.  The event is free to everybody who registers in advance at CUBuffs.com/events or by calling 303-492-5497. 

The 1st Bank Center is located just 15 minutes from Boulder and downtown Denver and has 3,000 parking spaces located on its grounds.  Exit U.S. 36 at Wadsworth Parkway and head south, turn left on Uptown Drive.
