BOULDER—The University of Colorado will host Healthy Kids Day prior to the start of its home opener on Sept. 8 against Sacramento State.  Healthy Kids Day will take place from 11 a.m. to Noon on the Football Practice Fields and afterwards enjoy CU’s home opener where fans can purchase four tickets for $60.

Healthy Kids Day has become a CU tradition, as the first 750 kids under the age of 13 will receive a free CU t-shirt.  CU student-athletes from football, basketball, track & field, tennis, golf and skiing will all be in attendance to help kids make healthy choices and participate in skills stations.

In conjunction with Silk, Horizon Organic, International Delight, Crocs and the CU Parents Association, admission to Healthy Kids Day is free.  Bring the whole family and then attend CU’s home opener at Folsom Field at 1 p.m. with a special four tickets for $60.

The Football Practice Fields are located off of Folsom Street just north of the Boulder Creek.  Gameday parking rates to apply.  Visit www.cubuffs.com/gameday or call 303-492-1976 for more information.

Fans can take advantage of this ticket special online here or by calling 303-49-BUFFS.
