SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - For the second consecutive season, the University of Colorado women's tennis team failed to win a conference match falling to 0-10 in its initial season in the Pac-12 Conference and dropping a 7-0 decision to No. 38 Utah, Saturday afternoon.

The Buffaloes (7-14, 0-10 Pac-12) dropped their 25th-straight regular season conference match dating back to 2010. CU lost all 11 matches last season in the Big 12 and the last four in 2010.

Utah improves to 11-10 overall and to 3-7 in the conference. The Utes swept all three doubles matches for the point and five of six singles matches in straight sets. CU defaulted the No. 6 slot and already trailed 2-0 on the scoreboard before singles play began.

The Utes clinched the match at No. 1 singles as senior and No. 50 nationally ranked Anastasia Putilina won her last home match on Senior Day defeating sophomore Kristina Schleich, 6-4, 6-1.

It was CU's ninth shutout loss this season by a 7-0 score and seventh in conference play.  Ten of CU's 11 matches against conference opponents are nationally ranked, as high as No. 1 through No. 44.

CU was the only school to go winless in conference play this season and will be the No. 11th seed entering the Pac-12 Tournament beginning April 26 at Ojai, Calif. (opponent to be determined).
