California narrows Colorado's series lead to 5-4 and has won the last four.

Colorado falls to 1-2 this season against ranked teams and is 3-7 under head coach Linda Lappe. The Buffaloes are 62-144 all-time against ranked teams, including a 38-47 mark at home.

Colorado was outrebounded for the second game in a row after either winning or tying the rebound edge for the first 11 games. CU was outrebounded in consecutive games for the first time since playing at Stanford and Cal last season.

The Buffaloes were held under 50 points in consecutive games for the first time this year, and the first time since the trip to Stanford (68-46) and California (64-43) last season.

Chucky Jeffery (13 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals) has registered at least one assist in 55 straight games and 104 of 106 career games. Jeffery logged her 75th career double-figure scoring game, moving into sole possession of 11th all-time.

Arielle Roberson (11 points, 6 rebounds) extended her school-record with her 13th game scoring in double-digits to begin her career.

Rachel Hargis (6 points, 7 rebounds, 3 blocks, 2 steals) moved into 13th place on CU's all-time list for blocked shots with 65. She passed Aija Putnina who had 63 from 2006-08). Her two steals tied a career-high and her seven rebounds tied a season-high (Utah Valley).
