Chucky Jeffery (28 points, 12 rebounds, 10-of-19 FG, 7-of-8 FT) had a personal and team season high 28 points. The 28 were her second most, coming just two short of her career high 30 set against Idaho last season. She leaped from 14th to 12th on CU's all-time scoring list, now with 1,398. She passed Diane Hiemstra who had 1,370 from 1981-84 and Mandy Nightingale who had 1,386 from 1998-2002. Jeffery also moved into sixth in career rebounds (775) and 14th in field goals made (527)
Jeffery logged her 23rd career double-double and third of the season. She has all three of CU's double-doubles this year. Her 23 double-doubles rank fifth all-time and she also logged her 25th career double-figure rebounding game and 76th career double-figure scoring game.
Jeffery was 10-of-19 tonight (53 percent), 28 points. The rest of CU was 11-of-34 (32 percent), 39 points. Her 12 rebounds tied her own season high (Colorado State).
Jamee Swan (8 points, 11 rebounds, 3-of-5 FG, 1 block, 22 minutes) - Netted a career high 11 rebounds, becoming the first player other than Chucky Jeffery with double-figure rebounds this year (Jeffery has four, including tonight). She surpassed her previous career high of seven with eight in the first half alone...Her eight first half rebounds tied for the most this season. Jeffery also had eight in the first half against Colorado State. Swan's 22 minutes played were a career high.
Arielle Roberson (8 points) saw her school-recourd double-figure scoring streak end at 13 to begin her career.
