Fans, welcome to the new, your official source for news and information on Colorado Athletics. Here are some of the items to note with our new and improved site.

The first not so much new, but certainly worth highlighting is the hiring of B.G. Brooks, long time Rocky Mountain News writer who joined the staff as a contributing editor back in July. Brooks has more than 31 years covering Colorado Sports and the last 21 covering the Buffs. He has already contributed extensive content during fall football camp, and there is plenty more to come as the season gets underway. Click on the B.G. Brooks box on the right side of the home page to view all his stories

We have enhanced the video experience on the new website. Our new video player will provide a better quality and we are putting a huge emphasis on expanded video content. CU Athletic Director Mike Bohn discontinued his written blog "Throwin' You A Bohn," in favor of the "Two-Minute Drill" a video piece to educate fans on a timely topic. Bohn used this format today to announce the new agreement to play the annual CU-CSU series at Invesco Field. Click here to see that footage.

That's just the beginning. Our award winning BuffVision crew has already started the Buffalo Stampede Soccer show, a program exclusive to and a similar show is in the works for volleyball as these shows compliment the Buffalo Stampede Coaches Show which fans will still be able to see on BuffsTV. Also look for increased video content through all our sport seasons, whether it be features or post event interviews.

Live streaming audio of CU football and basketball games returns to this season as an arm of the BuffsTV premium subscription package. Fans can now enjoy the call by the Colorado Radio Network exclusively on the school's official website for only $4.99 per month or $39.99 for the entire year. The package includes all Colorado football, men's and women's basketball games (excluding exhibitions) and the hour-long Dan Hawkins Radio Show, which is broadcast every Wednesday night during the football season.

The audio schedule on BuffsTV includes no less than 85 live events for the 2009-10 season and debuts its broadcasts with the first edition of the Dan Hawkins Radio Show on Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 7 p.m., live from The Boulder Drafthouse as coach Hawkins previews the 2009 season-opener against Colorado State.

Live audio on is just a portion of what awaits fans in 2009-10 on BuffsTV. Select live events and event replays highlight the BuffsTV video package. The BuffsTV video only piece is $5.99 a month or $49.99 for the annual subscription. Catch live video streams of the Dan Hawkins Radio Show, the KOA-CU Football Pregame Show, select men's and women's basketball games and all home volleyball and soccer matches. Full replays of home football games will also be available to BuffsTV video subscribers as will replays of previously streamed basketball, volleyball and soccer contests. has a majority of the live events offered already listed, click here to see a live broadcast schedule. Please note that the BuffsTV audio and video packages are separate subscriptions and must be signed up for individually. (Note for Firefox or Safari users: You may need to disable your pop up blocker to view videos on this site, as they will open in a window separate from the video player.)

We will be expanding our on-line merchandising, from more specialized content on our official store to our improve auction site. We've created a landing page for your shopping needs, putting you just one click from what you are looking for. directs fans to all five of our major store areas: Official, DVD, Photo, Jersey and also provides a link back to our BuffsTV Live Audio and Video subscription areas.

Look for special deals and auctions all season, including this limited edition Nike Throwback Byron "Whizzer" White footbal jersey, inspired by the one worn by White during his time as a Colorado Buffalo from 1935-37.

We invite you to enjoy all of the aspects of our redesign. We are truly excited about the 2009-10 season at the University of Colorado and look forward to having you join us throughout the year at the game and on
