Marcus Palas joined the Buff Club in March of 2009 and currently serves as the Assistant Director of Development for the University of Colorado. In his current role, Palas works to cultivate and steward major gift contributors in Oregon and Texas. He also works to support endowments, annual gifts, and capital projects by generating major gift revenue.

Palas has held various roles during his time with the Buffaloes such as Development Associate, Assistant Director of Special Events and External Groups, Associate Staff Liaison to the Alumni C Club and a Buff Club Intern.

Palas earned his undergraduate degree from Colorado State in 2007, where he played on the football team (2004-05). He then earned a masters degree in sport administration at the University of Northern Colorado in 2009.

Palas currently resides in Westminster with his wife, Alisha, where he enjoys spending time with family & friends, sports, reading, movies and playing with their dog Chompy.
