Brendon Smith is in his second year as an assistant equipment manager at the University of Colorado. Smith handles the equipment duties for the men's and women's basketball teams and assists with football.

Prior to his arrival at Colorado, Smith served as the equipment manager at Sacred Heart University. He started out as an assistant manager in 2005 and was promoted to the director in 2006. Smith was responsible for the equipment needs of all 31 sports at SHU.

Smith earned his bachelor's in public relations and sports communications from Marist College in 2004. He graduated from Catskill High School in 2000 and lettered in baseball and bowling.

Born on March 24, 1982 in Catskill, N.Y., Smith enjoys hanging out with friends. He currently resides in Westminster, Colo.
