BOULDER—The University of Colorado men’s basketball team will play host to UCLA at the Coors Events Center on Thursday evening with a 6 p.m. tipoff.

Fans are encouraged to wear white to the game to make it a “White Out” for the all-important game at the top of the Pac-12 standings.  Pepsi will be handing out 8,000 white t-shirts for the occasion.

Also due to the early tipoff and the fact campus classes are in session until 5:30 p.m. higher than normal volumes of traffic expected.  Campus and Boulder Traffic Police will treat the end of the campus day much like the end of an event at the Coors Events Center, staging an exit campus scenario from 4-5:30 p.m. to allow students and staff to depart campus faster and open up additional parking spaces.

Fans attempting to enter campus on southbound Broadway Ave., between 4:30-5:30 p.m. should instead turn left on Euclid and then take a left on 18th Street, which will turn into Colorado Avenue and fans can take a right onto Regent Drive from there.

CU will offer a shuttle service from East Campus so fans can avoid campus traffic altogether.  The shuttle will begin at 4:30 p.m. and drop fans off at the 28th Street Frontage Road for easy access to the Coors Events Center via a pedestrian tunnel under 28th Street.  Shuttles will remain active until 9 p.m.

East Campus is located between 30th Street and Foothills Parkway on Colorado Ave.  Parking on East Campus is the McAllister Lot (546).  From Colorado Avenue, turn North on Discovery Drive, take your second right and first left to access Lot 546.
