WALNUT CREEK, Calif. – Three University of Colorado women golfers have been named 2014 Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mentions, Commissioner Larry Scott announced.
To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.
Jenny Coleman, a Rolling Hills Estate, Calif. native, recently graduated from the CU Leeds School of Business with a business degree and an emphasis on marketing. This is the first conference academic honor for Coleman, and the third post-season recognition following her senior season. Coleman was also named an All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention and received the team’s Most Valuable Player award.
Juniors-to-be Alexis Keating and Jamie Oleksiew both earned All-Academic honors in their first year of eligibility. Keating, an Elma, Wash. native, majors in communication and holds a 3.60 GPA. Oleksiew, who hails from Vancouver, British Columbia, holds a 3.04 GPA, majors in economics and minors in technology, arts and media (TAM).
