The University of Colorado provides professional internship opportunities for certified athletic trainers. These positions give opportunities to those individuals interested in gaining experience before entering graduate school or a professional athletic training setting. The number of positions available varies from year to year.  Traditionally one intern will work with the Women’s Tennis and Football programs, and the other intern will work with the Track and Field/Cross Country teams.  The length of the internship is 10 months, and includes a monthly stipend and health benefits.  Our positions are posted in March on the NATA placement vacancy website and the University of Colorado Athletics web page. For more information please contact the Athletic Training Department at 303-492-3801.

We are unable to offer graduate assistantships due to graduate school scheduling conflicts.
