Junior Buffs Camp

July 6-8, 2016
July 6: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
July 7-8: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Ages: Grades 4-8
Skill Level: Beginner
Cost: $215

DESCRIPTION: The Junior Buffs Camp is designed for the beginning player looking to learn or improve his or her skills. Campers will be divided into groups by age and skill level while learning appropriate movements and volleyball skills in a fun atmosphere. Whether you are new to the sport or just want a refresher course on basic skill in a fun learning environment, this camp is for you!

Position Training Camp

July 6-8, 2016

July 6: 1 to 9 p.m.
July 7: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
July 8: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m..
Ages: Grades 9-12
Skill Level: Beginner to Advanced
Cost : $275 Commuter; $375 Overnight Stay in Dorms

DESCRIPTION: This camp is designed to help athletes master their position and gain an advantage over their competition. This skill camp covers all aspects of a specific position. Coaches will take the time to break down every detail of the position. Not only will athletes have the opportunity to choose the position in which they train, but this camp is great for athletes who also want to train in a new position! The techniques and skills learned will help give athletes the confidence and knowledge needed to improve!

Position Day Clinic

July 9: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Ages: Grades 7-12
Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Cost: $125

DESCRIPTION: The Position Day Clinic is designed for players entering grades 7-12 who want to focus specifically on an individual position (setter, attacker or libero). The sessions will emphasize breaking down skills and techniques specific to each position for improved execution during game situations. We will cover the fundamentals of each position as well as more advance training.

High Performance Camp

July 10-12, 2016

July 10: 1:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
July 11: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
July 12: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Ages: Grades 7-12
Skill Level: Advanced
Cost: $300 Commuter; $400 Overnight Stay in Dorms

DESCRIPTION: This is an elite skills training camp. It is designed for the advanced player that has aspirations of playing high level collegiate volleyball in the future. The focus of training will be to prepare for the next level with drills and competition designed to refine techniques and enhance the overall level of the volleyball athlete. The world class coaching staff, cutting edge training techniques, and opportunity to compete against high level competition is only part of the fun. Campers will also have the opportunity to dig deep and experience Boulder with an outdoor adventure!


All Skills Day Camp

July 13-15, 2016
9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Ages: Grades 6-12
Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Cost: $395

DESCRIPTION: The All Skills Camp covers all aspects of the game of volleyball with an emphasis on fundamentals. The techniques and skills taught in this camp are designed to provide a strong foundation that allows players to develop into high level athletes as they continue to play. All skills will be covered including passing, setting, hitting, defense, blocking, serving as well as offensive and defensive systems.

CU Team Camp

July 17-19, 2016
July 17: 12 to 9 p.m.
July 18: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
July 19: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

High School Level Teams (min. 10 athletes per team)
Cost Per Athlete: $150 Commuter; $225 Overnight (coach must submit $300 deposit to reserve)

DESCRIPTION:  A team camp like no other! This camp will help teams improve on all volleyball skill areas as well as team concepts such as serve receive, offensive and defensive strategies. We will offer multiple opportunities for team competition as well as offering significant team bonding activities to bring your team together to be ready for your high school season. Campers will also have the opportunity to dig deep and experience Boulder with a unique outdoor adventure!



Every registration requires full payment. A $50 fee will be retained on all cancellations for any reason to cover credit card fees and administrative expenses. The remaining amount will be credited back to one's account if paid by credit card. If paid by check, the University will cut a check back to the original payee. For prompt processing, refund requests should be made prior to the start of camp. An additional $50 (toal of $100) fee will be retained for overnight campers who cancel within two weeks of the camp starting date, to cover housing guarantees.


Health Care and Insurance:
All campers will be covered by a group accident policy provided by the camp at no cost. Camp insurance is secondary to the camper's primary personal insurance.
A certified athletic trainer will be on site at all times during camp hours.

What to Bring:
All campers should wear gym shorts, T-shirt, socks, gym shoes and ankle braces if necessary. Please leave all jewelry and valuables at home. A more detailed list of what to bring for our overnight and commuter campers will be sent in our Parent’s Guides one month prior to camp starting.

Camp will be held in the Coors Events and Practice Facility, Coors Events Center main court, Balch Field House and the Kittredge Complex Sand Courts.
