Andrew Green enters his 13th year as assistant sports information director at Colorado, joining the department in October 2001. He handles the sports information director duties for men's basketball, women's tennis and the football game program.

Green, 46, came to Boulder from The College of William and Mary, where he worked three years serving as the Tribe's primary contact for women's basketball, soccer, and volleyball. He also assisted with all of W&M's 23 varsity teams, including its Division I-AA football program. 

Green served as the media coordinator for the 1998 and 1999 NCAA women's soccer tournaments as well as the 1999 Colonial Athletic Association Volleyball Championships.

He graduated from Ashland (Ohio) University in 1996 with a bachelor's degree in sports communication. Green was a graduate student assistant in the sports information office at California University of Pennsylvania a year later where he was the media liaison for the 1997 national champion softball team.

Born January 31, 1968 in Batavia, N.Y., Green graduated from Le Roy High School in Le Roy, N.Y., where he lettered in basketball and tennis. He enjoys biking, hiking, and running in his spare time.
