2005 (Jr.)—He did not see any game action, but dressed for seven games including the Champs Sports Bowl.

 

2004 (Soph.)—He did not see any action, but did dress for all home games and the Houston Bowl.  He joined the team as a walk-on for preseason practices. 

 

FORT SCOTT COMMUNITY COLLEGE (2002, 2003; Fr./Fr.-RS)—Under coach Kevin Verdugo, he started at tight end as a redshirt freshman in 2003 after practicing as a true frosh the previous year. 

 

HIGH SCHOOL—A two-year letterman at quarterback at Evergreen (Colo.) High School, he completed 8-of-20 passes for 195 yards and one touchdown as a senior.  He did not play football his junior year, but as a sophomore he connected on 45-of-70 passes for 550 yards, 10 touchdowns (with a long of 70 yards).  Under coach Larry Allen, Evergreen was 10-1 his senior season, and 8-2 his sophomore year when they won the 2000 3A state championship.  He also lettered once in track (100 meters).  He completed his high school education in Leawood, Kan. 

 

ACADEMICS—He is majoring in sociology at Colorado. 

 

PERSONAL—Born June 23, 1984 in Denver, Colo.  Hobbies include playing basketball, and he has worked landscaping jobs during the summer.
