BOULDER - Tickets for the University of Colorado men's basketball game vs. Nebraska this Saturday, March 5, are SOLD OUT for the general public. Colorado has now sold out a record five men's basketball games this season.
The Nebraska game will not be televised, but it will be broadcast on the radio on 850 KOA for the first time this season and will be the first CU basketball game on KOA since the winter of 1983.
The Nebraska game will tipoff at 7 p.m. with doors opening to the public at 5:30 p.m. The CU Athletic Department in conjunction with Frontier Airlines will be distributing commemorative Colorado Basketball t- shirts as a "thank you" to the fans for the awesome support the Buffaloes have received this year. The shirts will be available at all gates as fans enter the Coors Events Center.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early to avoid traffic delays. Sold out games strain the parking inventory around the Coors Events Center. Fans arriving closer to game time may be directed to access lots via Broadway or park closer to Folsom Field.
The CU women are welcoming No. 3 Baylor to the Coors Events Center at 2 p.m. Tickets for that game are still available starting at $3 for Fan Appreciation Day, and CU will also distribute t-shirts to women's fans to say "thank you" for their support. The doors to the CEC will open to the general public at 1 p.m.
CU Student Sports Pass holders will need to bring their Buff OneCard and enter through the student gates at the southeast entrance as per usual for both the men's and women's games.
