CAREER

• First CU player to average a double-double (10.9 ppg., 11.2 rpg.) in back-to-back years since Shaun Vandiver (1989-91, 22 years) • Set the junior season rebounding record (347) • 255 defensive rebounds ranks second all-time behind sophomore year total (290) • Led CU in rebounding 26 times (twice shared); blocks: 21 times (7 shared); steals: 19 times (6 shared) • Two 20 rebounding games (Stanford, at Fresno State), becoming the 17th and 18th time in school history a CU player to have 20 or more in a game • 10th player to reach the 20-rebound plateau and only fifth player to have multiple 20-rebound games [others: Burdette Haldorson (4), Jim Davis (3), Cliff Meely (2), Jamahl Mosley (2)] • First CU player to grab that many multiple times since Mosley accomplished it twice during 2000-2001 (vs. Missouri, vs. Baylor at KC). Prior to Mosley, it hadn’t happened since Meely did it in during the 1969-70 and 1970-71 seasons. Roberson and Mosley are the only two players to accomplish the feat in the past 43 years • 13 games shooting 50+ FG%; 9 games 60+% • Of his 31 games played, 21 of them were double-digit rebounding games.

NATIONALLY
• 11.2 rpg. (2nd Nationally); #30 steals (2.16); #t-158 in blocks (1.32); #t-33 double-doubles (12) • First player from a major BCS school to finish at the top in rebounding since 2008-09 and fourth since 1995-96 • Ended junior year with the most career rebounds of any D-I junior (1,045) • Preseason Top-50 Watch lists: John R. • 1st in Pac-12 Rebounding (all games, conference-only, defensive-only) • Tied for second overall with 12 double-doubles, tied for fifth in conference-only double-doubles (5) • Only player to average a double-double among all players in the Pac-12 (all games) • Helped CU rank No. 1 in Pac-12 (conference games only) in scoring defense (62.2 ppg.) and first in 3-Point FG % defense (all games, 32.0) • Pac-12 Player of the Week (Dec. 10-16).

2011-12 (sophomore)
• Set the CU single-season rebounding record (401) breaking 58-year old mark previously set by Burdette Haldorson (1954-55) • Set the single-season defensive rebounding record (290) breaking the 225 by Shaun Vandiver (1989-90), 23 years ago • Shattered sophomore season record for most rebounds (401) topping old mark of 337 (Cliff Meely in 1968-69, 44 years ago). 
• First CU player to average a double-double for the entire season (11.6 ppg., 11.1 rpg.) since Stephane Pelle (2001-02; 12.8 ppg., 10.8 rpg.) • His 11.1 rpg. was the highest since Shaun Vandiver (11.2) in 1989-90 • 12th player in school history to lead the team in rebounding in back-to-back seasons, but only the second since 1994 (joining Stephane Pelle in 2001-02, 2002-03) • 67 blocked shots, the most in a season since David Harrison had 85 in 2003-04.
• 20 double-doubles (CU went 15-5), tied for the third most in a single season (with Cliff Meely, ’68-69) • 111 offensive rebounds, third in school history • Grabbed eight or more rebounds in 32 of 36 games • Averaged a team-high 30.2 minutes per game shooting team-best 50.2 percent from the field • Lead CU two-straight years in rebounds (11.1), blocks (67), and steals (46) in the same season; joined Chauncey Billups & Matt Bullard as only Buffs to lead the team in three categories (either points, rebounds, assists, blocks, steals) in both his freshman and sophomore seasons • Shot 53.7 percent from the field over his two years (250-of-466).

NATIONALLY (2011-2012)
• Ranked third in rebounds per game (11.1) • Third place finish is highest finish by a CU player since Alex Stivrins finished sixth 11.7 rpg. (1984-85) • 20 double-doubles (15-5 in those games), fifth overall • No. 54 in blocked shots (1.86) • Among all players entering the NCAA Tournament was second in rebounding and tied for fourth in double-doubles • Ranked second (trailing only Kansas’ Thomas Robinson, a consensus All-America selection) in defensive rebound percentage (29.6 percent) as calculated by Ken Pomeroy (kenpom.com). Defensive rebound percentage is the percentage of possible defensive rebounds a player gets.

Pac-12 (all games)
• First in rebounding (11.1 rpg.), first in offensive (3.1 rpg.), defensive rebounding (8.1 rpg.) • Tied for first in blocked shots per game (1.9) • Only player to average a double-double among all players in the Pac-12 (all games & conference-only games).

Pac-12 (conference only)
• First in rebounding (10.9 rpg.), first in blocked shots (2.3 bpg.), first in defensive rebounds (8.2), second in offensive rebounds (2.8) • Averaged more defensive rebounds per game (8.1) in all games than any other player in the Pac-12 averaged total rebounds per game • Seven blocks against Oregon (Feb. 4) was the second highest for the season in the conference, and the most by a CU player since David Harrison had seven on Feb. 18, 2004 vs. Texas Tech. Of his 67 blocks on the season, 37 have resulted in a defensive rebound for CU (55.2 percent) • Helped CU rank first in defensive rebounds (25.9 rpg.); first in defensive rebounding percentage (.731) • Grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds against Utah (Dec. 31) becoming the first player since 2006 to record that many boards in a game.

Pac-12 Tournament
• Averaged 14.8 points and 10.3 rebounds per game, in addition to having seven steals, seven assists and seven blocked shots; also made four three-pointers (seven attempts, .571 percentage) • Shot 66.7 percent during the Pac-12 Tournament (20-of-30). Made 11-straight field goal attempts dating back to the game-winning put back against Oregon in the quarterfinals. His streak tied for the third longest, and just one off the school record of 12 held by teammates Rodell "House" Guest and Shaun Vandiver, one year apart. Roberson’s 11-straight are the most on the road or at a neutral site. His 6-of-6 performance from the field against Cal, which included two 3-pointers, was a career-best percentage wise.

2010-11 (freshman)
• Set the CU school record for most rebounds by a freshman (297) and most blocked shots in a single-season by a freshman (42) • Tied the school mark for most games played in a season (38) and most single-season fouls (112).
• First CU freshman to lead team in rebounds (297), steals (51), blocks (42) becoming only the fourth Big 12 player to accomplish this feat (Michael Beasley, Kansas State; Antoine Wright, Texas A&M; Kevin Durant, Texas) • 100th nationally in rebounding (7.8 rpg.).
• Tied for fifth nationally in freshman rebounding (only player with zero starts). Of the top six freshman rebounders, he ranked second (14.0) of the six per 40 minutes.
• Sixth CU freshman to lead team in blocked shots (Shane Harris-Tunks, David Harrison, Stephane Pelle, Carlton Carter, Matt Bullard) • 297 rebounds tied for 12th in school history for rebounds in a season.
• 2010-11 CUSPY Awards (CU Sports Performers of the Year) Co-Male Freshman Athlete of the Year • Stephane Pelle Rebounding Award winner.

• Second in offensive rebounds (3.1) • Sixth in rebounding (7.3).

• Born Dec. 4, 1991 • Son of John and Lisa Roberson • Comes from an athletic family, father played basketball collegiately at New Mexico State (1985-89) and professionally overseas for 12 years; mother played volleyball at New Mexico State (1985-89) • Has five sisters, Ashlee (a three-year letterwinner at Texas Tech University and played professionally overseas; Amber (four-year volleyball letterwinner with the University of Texas); Arielle (currently with the CU women’s basketball team); Aaliyah; Arianna and one brother, Anthony • Roberson was the first student-athlete signed by Coach Boyle • Sister, Arielle and Andre are the only brother-sister basketball siblings in the Pac-12 Conference, and one of five nationally.
