Basketball Players Announce Buffs Madness

BOULDER–The University of Colorado will host Buffs Madness on October 12, an event surrounding the first practice of the men’s and women’s basketball programs, it was announced Thursday by basketball players Andre Roberson, Spencer Dinwiddie, Chucky Jeffery and Meagan Malcolm-Peck.

The four players announced the Buffs plan for the event via a video that was released on social media Thursday afternoon.  The department urged fans to like the men’s and women’s basketball Facebook pages and the fans responded, more than doubling the amount of “likes” on those pages in less than 48 hours.  

Buffs Madness will take place on Friday, October 12 at approximately 8:30 p.m.  The volleyball team hosts Arizona State at 7 p.m., with the Buffs taking the floor afterwards.  

All events at the Coors Events Center that night, including the volleyball match, are free to the fans and Buffs Madness will include scrimmages, contests, giveaways and more.
