Men’s basketball forward Josh Scott (sophomore) and women’s basketball guard Ashley Wilson (senior) received Athlete of the Week Honors on Tuesday for the week of Dec. 23-29.

Scott recorded his sixth double-double of the season, the eighth of his career, in Colorado’s 84-70 win over Georgia at Coors Events Center on Saturday. The Monument, Colo. (Lewis-Palmer) native had 14 points and 13 rebounds, going 3-of-5 from the field and a perfect 8-of-8 from the free throw line. His performance from the line helped the Buffs set a school record for free throws attempted and free throws made (26-of-26) in a single game. Scott also had one assist, one block and one steal.

Wilson scored a career-high 14 points in No. 12 Colorado's 75-59 win over Southern Utah in Boulder on Sunday. Originally from Long Beach, Calif. (Poly), Wilson went 5-of-7 from the field and 4-of-5 from the free throw line. Additionally, she had a personal best five assists, while putting up four steals.
