Colorado has won its last 19 regular season nonconference contests and 26 of 30 under head coach Linda Lappe. The Buffaloes also start their season 6-0 for the second straight year

Colorado takes the series lead over Illinois at 3-2 and wins its first game at Assembly Hall (1-1).

Colorado improves to 11-7 in its last 18 true road games, including postseason.

Colorado wins a nonconference regular season road contest against a major conference opponent for the first time since defeating No. 20/17 ranked Vanderbilt, 62-51, on Dec. 9, 2007.

Colorado trailed at half for the first time this season. The win marked CU's largest halftime deficit overcome (six) on the road since defeating Missouri 80-79 in overtime on Feb. 23, 2010 after trailing by seven at the break (43-36).

Senior guard Chucky Jeffery (7 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, 1 block) became the 11th player in team history to reach 700 rebounds and moved past Reagan Scott (1993-97) into 10th place with 702. Jeffery also passed Britt Hartshorn for 16th in all-time scoring with 1,277. Hartshorn had 1,272 from 1998-02.  She moved into a tie for 15th place with Diane Hiemstra (1981-84) with 59 career blocked shots. Her six assists are also a team season high.

Arielle Roberson (25 points, 7-of-8 FG, 10-of-14 FT) recorded her sixth double figure game to begin her career tying teammate Lexy Kresl (2011-12) and former All-American Shelley Sheetz (1991-92) for the second best mark in team history. Tracy Tripp has the school-best with 10 in 1985-86. Roberson is shooting 72 percent over the last two games (13-of-18).

Jen Reese (15 points, 7-of-14 FG) Her 15 points matched a personal best which she set against Creighton last year. Her seven field goals set a personal best and her 14 attempts matched a career high. She is averaging 13 points over the last three games. Her string of three straight games scoring in double-digits is also a personal best..

Jasmine Sborov (11 points, 5 rebounds, 5-of-9 FG). Scored a career-high 11 points, eclipsing her previous total of 10 set twice, last against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi last weekend. Sborov matched her personal best with five field goals made and recorded a career-best with nine attempts.
