BOULDER - The memorial service for former University of Colorado cross country and track and field coach Jerry Quiller has been moved to the club level at Folsom Field on Saturday, February 11. Quiller, 69, died last week.
The service will take place from 4-6 p.m. at the Bryon R. White Club Level at Folsom Field on CU's campus.
Quiller coached the Buffs for 15 years over two different stretches of his career. He was an assistant at CU starting in 1970 for four years. After stints as head coach at Wayne State (Mich.) and Colorado State, Quiller returned to Boulder to lead the Buffs from 1985-1995. He finished his coaching career at Army from 1995-2008.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Quiller's name for student-athletes' scholarships at Colorado State University. Checks may be made out to the CSU Foundation and sent to 101 McGraw Athletics Center, Fort Collins, CO 80523-0120.
