XC Men And Women Earn At-Large Bid For NCAAs

INDIANAPOLIS - Just hours after the University of Colorado's men's and women's cross country teams each placed third at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships, both team received at-large bids to advance to the NCAA Championships on November 17 in Louisville, Ky.

This will be the 21st straight appearance at the national championship for the CU men. It will also be the 19th time in 20 years that the women have qualified for the meet. The only year the women did not qualify for nationals in that span was 2008.

The NCAA Championships will be held at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park. The women's 6-kilometer race will start at 10 a.m. MT and the men's 10k will follow at 11:15 a.m.
