Mattson placed sixth (56.76) and Sweeney was eighth (57.43). The trio of freshmen joined another freshman, Emily Elliott, for the 4x400 relay which finished with the second-best time in school history at 3:49.46.

Liz Tremblay, a junior, led Colorado in the 800. She finished seventh overall with a time of 2:10.45. Junior Shalaya Kipp raced in the elite section of the 3,000, placing 11th overall. CU also had success in the field events. Sophomore Alex Kizirian placed second overall in the weight throw after launching a huge personal best of 62 feet, 1 inch, surpassing his previous high mark of 57-06 ¼. The throw made him the second best performer in CU history behind Zach Hazen. The CU record is 63-09 ½.
