2009 Fall (sophomore): Opened the fall season with a 6-1 singles mark • Won her last six matches of the season • At the Colorado Invitational (Sept. 25-27) recorded three of four singles wins • Three straight victories at the USAFA Invitational (Oct. 1-3) 'Golf 7' bracket all in three sets • Defeated opponents from Oregon, New Mexico, Wyoming • Dropped the opening set in two of three matches only to rally and win.
2009 Spring (freshman): Did not play.
2008 Fall (freshman): Opened her initial collegiate season with a pair of singles and doubles victories • Earned two consolation singles wins at CU Invitational (Sept. 19-21) • Teamed with Michala Hedelund Jensen for a round-robin winner over Northern Colorado at the CU Invite and another victory with Franziska Jendrian at the San Diego State Fall Classic (Nov. 7-9), defeating a pair from UC Irvine.
Personal: Born Allison Mari Wahba on March 21, 1990 in Santa Monica, Calif. • Daughter of Jeffrey and Joanne Wahba • Youngest of three children • Older sister, Jennifer is an Occidental College graduate; and twin brother, Andrew, attends Stanford • Comes from an athletic family, father played tennis at Cornell; mother played volleyball at Mount Holyoke College; sister played tennis at Occidental College • Interned at Cosmopolitan Magazine the last two summers • Lists being girls' high school tennis captain and being named Athlete of the Month during senior year as her biggest moments of prep career • Enjoys going to the beach, reading, dancing and traveling.
Mira Costa HS: Four-year tennis letterwinner • Led the Mustangs to a top-10 ranking in southern California all four years • Senior year helped team to a top-five ranking • Four-time first team all-league selection and named to the all-star team three years • Team was 77-18 (.811) in her four years • Won 195 tennis individual matches over a four-year span • Three-time 2004-06 National Zonal Competitor • Ranked in the nation's top-300 among Girls 18s during junior and senior years • Reached the Hawaii State Junior Championship Finals in Girls 18s • Earned Model United Nations (M.U.N.) Research Award, also honored as yearbook copy editor.
