LAS VEGAS, Nev. - University of Colorado senior Melisa Esposito failed to advance past the semifinal round in both the main draw singles and doubles draws on day four of the Wilson/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Mountain Regional.

Esposito, who won four singles matches en route to the semifinal, lost to top seed Pichittra Thongdach (Boise State), 7-5, 6-2. In doubles, Esposito and teammate Camila Belassi fell to the No. 1 seed of McCall Jones/Megan Price of BYU, 8-3.

In the consolation singles draw, senior Monica Milewski won her fourth round qualifying match defeating Utah's Paige Miles, 6-3, 6-2. However, Milewski dropped her following fourth rounder to UNLV's Nives Pavlovic, 6-4, 6-3. The win by Milewski moves her into the school's top ten in career singles victories with 75.

The final day of the Mountain Regional involving any CU players will be in the consolation round on Sunday.
