BOULDER -The third annual Football 101 For Women featured over 165 participants and was a great time for all who attended.
The class started with icebreakers featuring trivia about each of the Buffs' coaching staff members while participants tried to get answers to a list of questions. Then the program shifted into panel discussions with several football student-athletes.
The activities then moved to the practice field where participants were put through four defensive and four offensive skill stations. In addition to the skill stations, there was also a chalk talk station in which participants were able to cool off with popsicles & ask the offensive and defensive coordinators football related questions. At halftime, the participants learned what all goes into recruiting a prospective student-athlete to play for the Buffs.
