The University of Colorado Spirit Program is comprised of our Cheer Squad, our dance team, Express, and our costumed mascot, CHIP! The Spirit Program is an integral part to the Athletic Department and works tirelessly to support all of CU's athletic teams. You will see the Spirit Squad at all home Football, Volleyball and Basketball games. In addition, the Spirit Squad travels to support our teams at away Football games and the Pac-12 basketball tournaments. CHEERLEADERS
The CU Buffs Cheer Team consists of a co-ed and an all-girl cheer team. Both teams can be seen cheering on the Buffs during football, volleyball, women’s and men’s basketball sporting events. The Cheer team can be seen at various community events and school functions throughout the year. The team also competes and has multiple top 10 finishes at the college national championships, including third place at the 2012 NCA College National Championships.

CHIP
Chip is CU's costumed mascot and one of the best in the nation. Chip is available for bookings, and he can be seen at numerous CU, community and charity events throughout the year. He has multiple top five finishes at the Mascot National Championship, including winning back-to-back championships in 2009 and 2010.

CU DANCE TEAM
You can see the CU Buffs Dance Team on the sidelines at football games, volleyball games and men's and women's basketball games. They also volunteer and make appearances throughout the year in the CU community. The Dance Team entered into UDA Nationals in the Pom division in 2010 finishing with an impressive third place. They finished top 10 in both Jazz and Pom in 2011 and 2012.
