EUGENE, Ore. - The University of Colorado women's tennis team dropped its second match in as many days falling to the Oregon Ducks, 7-0, Saturday afternoon at the UO Student Tennis Center. The Buffaloes lost 7-0 Friday at No. 44 Washington and fell to 7-11 overall and 0-7 in the Pac-12 Conference.

Oregon, who upset No. 43 Utah on Friday, improves to 11-7 overall and to 2-6 in conference play. CU continues to struggle in conference play having now lost 22-straight regular season conference matches since 2010.

CU still leads the all-time series, 9-6, however the Ducks improve to 4-0 all-time against CU at home and have won six of its last eight against the Buffaloes since 2003.

Oregon took the doubles point winning the No. 1 and No. 2 positions, while CU was forced to default the No. 3 slot.

In singles play and already down 1-0, the Buffs were forced to default the No. 6 singles. Leading the match 2-0, the Ducks cruised to straight set winners at the No. 5 and No. 6 singles for a team-clinching 4-0 advantage.  With only eight women on the active roster, CU is being plagued with injuries as Erin Sanders, Ashley Tiefel, and Camille Sabourin did not play.  

Freshman Julyette Steur provided CU with extended play pushing her match to three sets, however falling to Trudie du Toit, 6-0, 4-6, 1-0(5) at No. 3. CU sophomore Kristina Schleich, who played a three set match Friday, played another three-set match Saturday falling to Julia Metzger, 6-3, 3-6, 1-0(8) at the top singles spot.

CU continues its tour on the Pac-12 traveling to No. 28 Arizona (Friday, April 13, 2:30 p.m., MT) and to No. 29 Arizona State (Saturday, April 14, 1 p.m. MT), before ending the regular season at No. 43 Utah on Saturday, April 21 (11 a.m., MT).

Match Notes:
-CU is 2-10 when losing the doubles point, 0-7 in Pac-12 matches.
-CU has lost 14-straight road conference matches since 2010.
-CU remains winless in conference doubles play having lost all 21 matches versus the Pac-12.
-The Buffs have not won two points on the road in a conference match since losing 5-2 at Texas Tech (Apr. 16, 2010).
-CU's last road win in conference play was April 11, 2009 at Missouri, 4-3 (streak of 13 matches).
