October 31, 2016 | Cross Country

BOULDER— Pac-12 Network will air the 2016 Pac-12 Cross Country Championships on Monday, October 31, at 7 p.m. MT. The evening begins with a recap of the women's race, followed by a look back at the men's championship event at 7:30 p.m. MT.

The University of Colorado swept the men's and women's team titles on Oct. 28 for the third time in the six year history of the Pac-12 Conference. (The Buffs also won both titles in 2011 and 2015.) This was the 15th time in CU history the men's and the women's teams have swept the league meet.

The top-ranked CU women's team won their third overall Pac-12 title, while the seventh-ranked men's team claimed its sixth straight championship, tying a Pac-12 record. Senior Erin Clark was the runner-up in the women's race, while senior Ben Saarel led the men's team with a third place finish.

The Buffs will continue the postseason on Nov. 11 when they race at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships in Logan, Utah.
