CU Basketball Hosts Toy Drive This Week

BOULDER - The University of Colorado athletics department will host a toy drive before the CU men's basketball vs. Xavier game on Wednesday, Dec. 7, and the CU women's basketball game vs. Colorado State on Thursday, Dec 8. Tipoff for both games is at 7 p.m. at the Coors Events Center.
Fans are encouraged to donate unwrapped new or gently used toys, games, puzzles, books, DVDs, art supplies and sporting goods. All items will go to Share-A-Gift in Boulder. Share-A-Gift is an all-volunteer project that provides gifts for children of low-income families in Boulder Valley School District.
Fans who donate an item will receive a voucher to purchase a discounted ticket to the men's basketball vs. Eastern Washington game on Thursday, Dec. 22, and the women's basketball vs. Wyoming game on Wednesday, Dec. 21.
Bins will be located at all entrances of the Coors Events Center.

Additional promotions for this week's games will be mostly geared toward CU students. Free pizza will be provided before the men's game on Wednesday and free Half Fast Subs will be available before the women's game on Thursday. Additionally, the first 150 students will receive a free black CU t-shirt for the women's game. All fans for both games are encouraged to wear black.
