November 08, 2017 | Tennis

BOULDER - University of Colorado women's tennis head coach Nicole Kenneally announced the signing of Megan Forster to the 2018 recruiting Class. Forster signed a National Letter of Intent here Wednesday during the NCAA's early signing period.

"We are so excited that Megan is now officially a part of the Buff Family," Kenneally said. "The recruiting process was a deep one with Megan and she had a lot of great schools after her. We feel very fortunate that she decided to spend her college years in Boulder and at CU."

Forster is from London, England and is currently a senior at Claires Court in Maidenhead. She was a finalist at the Cumberland Club in the summer of 2017 and the winner of the British Tour even (Taunton) in October of this year.

In Doubles, Forster was the British National doubles champion U18 in 2017 and a finalist at the British tour in Sutton. She is the two-time winner of the Manning Davenport Award and was also a U16 Nationals Semi-Finalist in 2015.

Forster enjoys swimming, listening to music and catching up with friends and is the daughter of Steve and Jackie Forster.

"Megan embodies and lives all of the qualities and characteristics that we as Buffaloes cherish," Kenneally said. "Respect, Accountability, Passion, Integrity and Dedication. Megan will be adding to our program on and off the court and we can't wait for her to start next August."
