LEXINGTON, Ky. — In the final American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division I Coaches Poll of the season, the Colorado Buffaloes were tabbed 19th.
Colorado finished the 2017 campaign with a 24-10 overall record, the third most wins for CU in a single season and the most wins since 1993. The Buffs completed the Pac-12 Conference slate with a 12-8 mark, their best record in league play, and tied for fifth.
The Buffs qualified for their 19th NCAA Tournament and advanced to the Sweet 16 after sweeping James Madison and then-No. 18 Baylor in the first and second rounds, respectively, before falling to then-No. 5 Nebraska in the regional semi-final. The Huskers went on to win the 2017 NCAA title.
