CU will also travel to UNC on Tuesday to take on the Golden Bears
BOULDER – This weekend Colorado's women's tennis team (8-3), for the second straight season, will kick off their conference schedule taking on the Arizona Wildcats (March 10, 1:30 MT) and the No. 40 Arizona State Sun Devils (March 11, 12:00 MT) before returning to Colorado and making the short trip up north to Greeley for a rematch against the Northern Colorado Golden Bears (March 14, 2:30 MT), completing a three match stretch over five days.
          Â
The Buffs haven't played a match since they traveled to Houston during the weekend of Feb. 25-26, where they split the two matches that they played. CU took down the University of Texas San Antonio 4-3, before losing to the host No. 41 Rice University Owls 7-0 to finish their weekend.
          Â
Colorado heads into their conference opening weekend looking to repeat last year's big upset win against Arizona in Boulder (4-3), the Wildcats were nationally ranked No. 59 at the time, and they carry a 7-15 record all-time into their match against the Wildcats.Â
          Â
As for the Sun Devils, Colorado will attempt to get their first win against ASU since joining the Pac-12 and they carry a 2-18 all-time record against the Sun Devils to Tempe, Arizona.
          Â
After their weekend trip to the desert, the Buffs return to Colorado and on Tuesday, head to Greeley for their second match of the season against Northern Colorado. CU opened their season at home defeating the Golden Bears 5-2 (Jan. 21), and they'll look to improve their 34-2 all-time record against UNC.
          Â
Junior Louise Ronaldson (15-4), sophomore Annabelle Andrinopoulos (12-7), freshman Chloe Hule (11-8) and junior Kyra Wojcik (7-8) all split their matches during the last weekend the Buffs were in action and they'll attempt to solidify Colorado's lineup as they start grueling Pac-12 conference play, before looking to finish the season sweep at UNC.
