Colorado to honor its ski coaching legends at the 47th annual Ski Ball

BOULDER — The University of Colorado will honor its skiing coaching legends that directed CU to 20 national championships at the 47th annual CU Ski Ball "Leaders…Legends…Champions," scheduled for Friday, Sept. 22 at the Omni Hotel just a few minutes from Boulder.

Colorado will have a lot to celebrate this fall at its annual Ski Ball; 20 national titles, honoring the eight in a row from 1972-79, 481 All-Americans and 94 individual NCAA Champions.

The ballroom can seat 600-plus, providing CU with a great stage for the evening that will feature free parking and a 12-piece band that includes a horn section. A string quartet has also been added for the reception.

Registration will open in July. Ski Ball has sold out each of the last two years.
