Pac-12 Announces 2017-18 Men's Basketball Weekly Pairings
June 29, 2017 | Men's Basketball
Three NCAA, Five Postseason Tournament Teams From '17 Visit Boulder
SAN FRANCISCOÂ - The Pac-12 Conference has released the weekly matchups and site designations for the league's 2017-18 men's basketball season.
The announcement reflects the games being played and the home/away designations each week of the Pac-12 regular season. Specific dates and times for each game within a week will be announced later this summer after selections by the league's television partners are finalized. All 108 conference games will be televised by either the ESPN family of networks, FOX/FS1, CBS or Pac-12 Network.
Colorado will open conference action on the road for the third straight season, spending the final week of December at defending Pac-12 champion Oregon and Oregon State.
The Buffaloes will open home Pac-12 play the following week, Jan. 3-7, by hosting Arizona and Arizona State.
Colorado's schedule will alternate home and away each week with one exception: a three-game home stand in the middle of the conference season. Travel partner Utah comes to Boulder for CU's lone game during the week of Jan. 30-Feb. 4. The Buffaloes then host California and Stanford the following week, Feb. 7-11.
The Bay Area and Oregon schools are Colorado's one-time opponents this season. Oregon and Oregon State will not come to Boulder while the Buffaloes skip the trip to Stanford and California.
Following that three-game home stand, Colorado will end with three of five on the road. After a trip to Washington and Washington State the week of Feb. 14-18, The Buffaloes will host 2017 NCAA Tournament participants UCLA and USC the week of Feb. 21-25 to close out the home schedule. Colorado then plays a single game at Utah in the final week of the regular season, which ends Saturday, Mar. 3.
After breaking several attendance records in its debut season at T-Mobile Arena, the 2018 Pac-12 Men's Basketball Tournament returns to Las Vegas' newest venue from March 7-10. Check pac-12.com/tickets for the most up-to-date information on tournament on-sale dates and special offers.
