Andrinopoulos, Beck Earn Pac-12 All-Academic Honors

BOULDER – University of Colorado tennis players Annabelle Andrinopoulos and Brigitte Beck were named Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mentions here Wednesday by the conference office.
Annabelle Andrinopoulos, a sophomore from Melbourne, Australia, has a 3.15 grade point average and is majoring in marketing. She won 14 singles matches during the 2016-17 season, playing primarily in the teams No. 3 singles position. She finished the season strong winning two of her last three singles matches, including a 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 win over the region's 11th ranked player, Utah's Brianna Turley. Andrinopoulos also won 12 doubles matches, putting together an impressive 8-3 record.
Brigitte Beck, also a sophomore from Melbourne, Australia, currently holds a 3.48 grade point average as a biochemistry major. She won eight doubles matches and three singles matches this season, including her first career Pac-12 singles win over Washington State's Ege Tomey on March 24.
The Australians duo won 3 matches as a doubles team this season. They competed together in the #2 doubles position at the Pac-12 tournament, but fell to Washington in a heartbreaking 6-7 (2-7) opening round match.
