2018-19 (Jr.) – Choi only played in three tournaments for CU during the fall campaign, averaging a 71.44 stroke average and a 0.89 SCRIP average. She recorded a top-10 finish in all three tournaments, which included back-to-back top-five finishes at the Windy City Collegiate Classic (t3rd) and at the Nanea Pac-12 Preview (t5th). Choi did not compete in CU’s other two fall tournaments as she was playing in the LPGA Q-school and ended up earning her LPGA tour card for the 2019 season. She decided to forgo the reminder of her eligibility and turned professional following the semester break.

2017-18 (So.) – Choi led the Buffs with a CU sophomore record stroke average (72.69) as a sophomore, playing in 39 rounds, also a school record. During the season, she led the Buffs with five top-five finishes, six top-10 finishes and 13 sub-par rounds. Choi scored three rounds in the 60s and tied a team-best 35 rounds in the 70s. She scored 466 pars, 105 birdies and four eagles. In the fall, she averaged a 71.93 stroke average through 14 rounds. Choi, in addition to teammate Kirsty Hodgkins, each recorded a 65 in the second round at the Coeur D’Alene Colleigate to break the school record on a par 71. Choi carded a score of 207 for a 6-under, which tied for second behind Hodgkins' 10-under 203. During the spring slate, she averaged a 73.12 stroke average in 25 rounds played. For the second straight year, Choi was 11th at the Pac-12 Championships, scoring a 1-over 217. At the NCAA San Francisco Regional, she placed 13th with a 1-under 215, which helped the Buffs qualify for their second ever NCAA Championship. The team finished 19th after three rounds, but Choi qualified for the fourth round as an individual. She went on to finish 21st overall with a 4-over 292. Choi was ranked 30th in both Golfstat and Golfweek’s final rankings. In the summer of 2018, Choi competed in the 73rd U.S. Women’s Open Championships, marking the fourth time (second for Choi) in school history a Buff has qualified for the event.
 
2016-17 (Fr.) -- Choi made her Colorado debut in September at the Juli Inkster Spartan Invitational in the Buff’s second tournament of the fall season. Choi recorded a solid 9-over par 225 to tie for 15th overall and help the Buffs finish third in the tournament. Choi earned three top-20 finishes with her best round coming at the Peg Barnard Invitational in February where she finished at even par with a 142 two-day total to place third overall. Choi recorded two subpar rounds and finished the year with a 75.64 stroke average in 25 rounds of golf. She owned a team-high two eagles and recorded an impressive 269 pars and 55 birdies. Choi finished tied for 11th at the Pac-12 Championships where she contributed to the team score which gave the Buffs their best finish in conference history. In the summer of 2017, Choi competed in the 72nd U.S. Women's Open Championships, July 13-16, marking the third time in school history a Buff has qualified for the event.
 
High School—A graduate of Benowa State, Choi won several tournaments during her prep career, including the 2014 Adam Scott Classic and the 2015 Katherine Kirk Classic along with the 2015 and 2016 Queensland Amateur State Championship. In 2015, she drained five birdies over her last six holes to take home the title in the match play event. Choi was also a member of the 2016 Queensland Sirikit squad and she also represented Australia in the 2016 World Amateur Championship. Choi owns a 71.25 career stroke average.

Academics—Choi is a psychology major and owns a GPA greater than 3.00.

Personal—Robyn Choi was born in Sydney, Australia on March 17, 1998. Her parents are Nak and Soo Jin Choi of Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. She has one sibling, Ria. Her goal after college is to become a golfer on the LPGA Tour and earn the world’s No. 1 ranking. Choi lists one of her hobbies as listening to music. She decided to attend Colorado because she thought the coaches were very nice and liked the team atmosphere where it gave her a sense of belonging.
