Outdoor: Canceled (Coronavirus) ... Graduated with a degree in communication.
2019: Indoor: Opened the season running an impressive 4:41.85 at the Colorado Invitational to qualify for the mile indoors ... Ran a personal-best 9:07.07 at the Husky Classic ... Helped the DMR team to fifth at the MPSF Championships ... Finished 16th in the prelims at the NCAA Championships while battling a leg injury.
Outdoor: Transitioned to farther distances outdoors with an opener in the 5,000 at the Stanford Invite ... Ran a personal-best 1,500 in 4:22.90 at the Cardinal Classic ... Doubled at the Pac-12 Championships in the 5,000 and 10,000 ... Placed sixth in the 10,000 to score for the team at conference in a personal-best 34:03.73 ... Finished 12th in the 5,000 ... Qualified for both races at the NCAA West Preliminaries ... Placed 18th in the 10K and 25th in the 5,000 with a personal best performance of 16:13.62.
2018: Indoor: Did not compete.
Outdoor: Scholl’s single race during her outdoor season was in the 3,000-meter run at the Pac-12/Big Ten Challenge in March. She recorded a personal best of 9:52.94 and earned sixth place.
2017: Indoor: Scholl competed once in the 800-meters and three times in the mile. In the 800, she placed 10th at the CU Open (2/4) with a time of 2:14.31. Scholl’s best time in the mile (4:41.44) came at the Husky Classic (2/11). At the MSPF Championships, she raced the mile, but scored for the Buffs as a member of the distance medley relay team, running the 1,200-meter leg. The relay team set a school record (10:58.68) as they raced to first place at the league meet, before becoming the NCAA Division I Champions two weeks later.
Outdoor: Scholl raced twice during the outdoor season. She ran the 1,500 at the Cardinal Classic (4/22), finishing in 4:27.91 for eighth overall. At the OSU High Performance Meet (4/29), Scholl ran the 3,000-meter steeplechase and clocked a ninth place finish in 10:33.31.
2016: Indoor: Scholl made a quick splash for the Buffs, entering CU’s top performers’ lists in both the 800-meter and mile runs. She ran 2:12.24 to win the 800 at the Air Force Invite, putting her fourth on the performers list at the time. Scholl’s next race was the mile at the Husky Classic where she ran 4:39.70 for 10th place. That time put her fourth on the all-time list.Â

CROSS COUNTRY:
(2019) Placed 10th at Pre-Nats in her second race of the season ... Placed 30th at the Pac-12 Championships ... Placed 126th at the NCAA Championships.
(2018) Helped the Buffs to their third NCAA National Championship. Secured her first All-American honor with a 15th place finish, good for third on the team.
(2017) Finished 20th at the Pac-12 Championships to help CU to another team title. Served as an alternate at the NCAA Championships.
(2016) Scholl earned a spot on CU’s varsity roster as a freshman after running her first two races unattached. Her first race in uniform was NCAA Pre-Nationals where she was 46th overall. Scholl improved to 26th overall at Pac-12s where the Buffs won the team championship. She kept improving and at regionals was 10th overall (CU’s No. 5), earning her first all-region honor. Scholl just barely missed All-America honors at nationals, placing 42nd overall. She was the Buffs fifth runner to finish, helping CU to a third place team finish.

HIGH SCHOOL: Scholl won the 2014 Colorado 2A State Cross Country Championship in 19:59.7 after winning the region championship in 19:05.00. During her senior year, she ran at the CU Time Trial, placing fifth overall (22:27.1) behind four Buffs. She also won the state 3A championship as a freshman (18:37.6) and placed second her sophomore season (20:07.6). Scholl had success on the track and owns three WGHS records. She clocked 2:11 in the 800, 4:49 in the 1,600 and 11:09 in the 3,200. Scholl won the 800 and 1,600 state titles as a freshman and repeated as the 1,600 champion as a sophomore and also placed second in the 800. As a junior, she was the runner-up in both events. During her senior year, Scholl won the Simplot Games mile in 4:56. Utah, Boise State, Montana State, California and Montana also recruited Scholl.

PERSONAL: Tabor Alex Scholl was born on Feb. 4, 1997 in Steamboat Springs, Colo. She is the daughter of Shawn and Stephanie Scholl of Kremmling, Colo. She has one brother, Tyler. She enjoys cycling, rowing, Nordic skiing, ranching and baking.
