She competed in nine of CU’s 10 Pac-12 contests, and led all-freshmen in scoring, notching three goals and was second in playing time, with 449 total minutes. The Buffaloes were a perfect 3-0 when Stark scored. In addition to finding the back of the net against Colorado State, she also tallied one goal against Bryant and Arizona, which turned out to be her first career game-winner. Stark had 18 shots, which was tied for fifth-most on the team and put eight on goal. She also saw her first career postseason action at sixth-ranked North Carolina in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Stark earned first-team All-State honors and was an NSCAA All-West Region selection as a junior, scoring 10 goals and adding four assists. Stark played club soccer with Colorado Rush, helping the team to the Youth World Championship title at the 2010 Gothia Cup, where she was named the MVP of the championship game.

PERSONAL: Brittney Alise Stark is the daughter of Roy and Denise Stark, a firefighter and a receptionist, respectively. She has a younger sister, Michaela, who also plays soccer. After graduation, Stark hopes to become a trauma nurse so that she will have the opportunity to impact lives on a significant level.
